Equestrian Facilities
Nestled on 23 acres in Riverbend, Fourways, facilities at Blue Rock Stud Farm include four outdoor training arenas - show jumping arena, dressage arena, the derby arena and the lunging arena. And for the horse owners there is a full livery service, stables and luscious grass paddocks.
Full Livery and Boarding
- Livery with 5-star care.
- All horses are under 24 hour experienced supervision.
- Permanent, qualified farrier on the premises plus an assistant.
- Excellent and well-equipped arenas.

- Locked up, alarmed and secure tack rooms.
- 48 large brick stables.
- Horses are fed 3 times a day and are fed according to the special needs.

Paddocks
Individual or group grass paddocks. All paddocks are carefully maintained throughout the year to assure continual grazing for all horses.
Show Jumping Arena
Our showjumping arena is a mix of river sand and silica sand for best performance. We water our arenas daily for maximum performance ability and low dust levels.
Dressage Arena
Our dressage arena is river sand, with complete dressage letter markings indicating where the dressage movements or figures will be performed, so that they can be correctly executed.
Derby Arena
The Arena includes different types of jumps, full steps, baby bank and full banks, open water and dike. Our course is designed to challenge the horse and rider and in doing so build confidence.
Lunging Arena
The lunging arena is the ideal place to do groundwork and train young horses as well as providing the facility to exercise and work your horse.
